THORNTON INTERIOR DESIGN

Anna B Thornton is a Stockholm based interior designer and artist, working seamlessly between spaces and objects. Thornton Interior Design, founded in 2015, forms the foundation of her practice - shaping environments where colour, material and atmosphere come together to create spaces for living and working.

After a long career in fashion, she turned to interiors - drawn to the way spaces can influence how we feel, move and connect. Her work is deeply personal, guided by a sensitivity to each client and a belief in creating environments where people can truly thrive.

Each project begins with understanding the function and flow of a space, developing from early concepts and design through to project managing, sourcing, bespoke design and final delivery. Working across private homes, offices, restaurants and shared environments, she often collaborates with architects and craftsmen, integrating furniture, textiles and natural elements into a cohesive whole.

Under the label WONKY, her work becomes more tactile and immediate. All works are made to order. WONKY CLAY takes form in hand-built stoneware and porcelain, while WONKY LEAF interprets flowers in paper. Each paper flower work is paired with a Clay piece, creating compositions where floral poetry meets sculptural form.

Sustainable and eco-friendly, these creations bring the presence of flowers into a space without the fleeting waste of fresh blooms - a quiet luxury, a living artwork, and a celebration of imperfection.
